Rangers are keen to secure defender Sasa Papac to a new contract. The Evening Times says Papac has been offered a two-year contract extension that will keep him at Rangers until 2011.
The 28-year-old was Gers' former French boss Paul Le Guen's last signing in August, 2006, when he joined from Austria Vienna for £650,000.
And although he found it hard to establish himself under Le Guen, the Bosnian has gone on to become a key part of Walter Smith's rearguard and is understood to be keen to put pen to paper on the new deal.
