Ryan Kent says the Rangers coaching staff was a major reason for wanting to return to the club.
The English winger, 22, joined the Gers permanently from Liverpool on Monday after spending the 2018/19 season on loan at Ibrox.
And Kent says the presence of former Reds coaches Steven Gerard and Michael Beale motivated him towards a return to Glasgow.
He told the club's website: "After last season I have evolved even more as a player and I think now if I could add that final end product to my game then it is going to be a good season for me and for the team.
"With Steven Gerrard as manager there is a lot of ambition that comes from him, he wants to win things. Michael Beale had me as a kid at Liverpool, he got the best out of me then and that is when I really started to believe in my talent as a young boy. I flourished playing under Mick Beale.
"I think this coaching staff are obviously going in the right direction, I think the team have been excellent. Watching them has been tough but I have seen how well they have done so far this season and now I want to be back a part of it."
