Scottish giants Rangers are preparing a formal approach for Queens Park Rangers boss Michael Beale.
The Bromley-born coach, who is only 42, worked as Steven Gerrard's assistant at Rangers for four years.
He then went to Aston Villa in the same role, and then went to QPR as permanent boss.
Per talkSPORT, QPR reluctantly allowed Beale to speak to Wolves a month ago, but that did not go anywhere.
Now Rangers are pursuing Beale, and there is an expectation that they will get their man.
Beale has a great deal of affection for Rangers and would love the chance to win silverware with the Scottish side.
