Rangers no.2 worried about losing key men including Jelavic

Rangers assistant Kenny McDowall is hoping the reigning Scottish champions can hold onto all of their key players this winter.

Some 'Gers players, including Nikica Jelavic, Allan McGregor and Steven Davis, are attracting interest from clubs in England and could be on the move in January if any decent offers role in for the cash-strapped Glaswegians.

McDowall is aware that this could be the case and although he hopes nothing happens with the club's star men, he acknowledges that life must go on.

"Losing key players is obviously one of the concerns we've got come January," McDowall told the Daily Record. "It's a worry but we can't do anything except deal with it as it comes along in January.

"We'll need to see what happens in the transfer window. We can't do anything about it and if it happens we'll just need to get on with it."
