Rangers are moving for West Ham defender Christian Dailly.

The Scotsman says Gers were last night understood to be in talks with Scotland defender Dailly over a possible loan move to Ibrox for the rest of the season.

The 34-year-old former Dundee United player is back at West Ham United after spending the first half of the campaign on loan at Southampton and would provide experienced defensive cover for Rangers who yesterday released former England centre half Ugo Ehiogu from his contract with the club.
