Rangers loan signing El-Hadji Diouf admits a return to France's Ligue 1 is something that he could settle for.

The Blackburn Rovers man is enjoying a successful stint at Ibrox but said that a move back to the country where he kicked off his career with Sochaux, Rennes and Lens is favourable.

The Senegalese striker indicated that French giants Paris Saint-Germain is the place he would love to land.

"Why couldn't I move back to France? In football everything goes so fast but winning a title with Paris Saint-Germain would be magnificent," he said.

Diouf has made 12 appearances for 'Gers and despite scoring just twice, has become a crowd favourite.
