Long-time pundit Ally McCoist is convinced Ange Postecoglou will begin life as Tottenham boss on the front foot.
The Australian is under huge pressure as he takes over from Antonio Conte when the Premier League begins.
Postecoglou was in charge at Celtic last term, winning the Scottish Premiership at a canter.
“I think the most important thing from Postecoglou's point of view and Spurs' point of view is, can he be given the tools he wants to work with?" TNT Sports pundit and commentator McCoist said.
“Look, Spurs have had some unbelievable managers in the last 15-20 years. Some of the managers they've had are as good as anywhere around, but for whatever reason it hasn't really clicked.
“Postecoglou, I've got to say, set up a Celtic team that were particularly good to watch if you were a Celtic fan... particularly horrible to play against if you're a Rangers man! I genuinely hope and think given the tools he'll do really, really well."
