Rangers boss McCoist: Unbeaten season would be a 'great achievement'

Rangers manager Ally McCoist does not care that his side may go through a season undefeated in a lower division.

The Glasgow club are four games away from going through the Scottish League One campaign without a loss and despite the fact it is in the third tier, McCoist still believes it will be a brilliant accomplishment from his players.

"It would be a great achievement but we still have extremely difficult games to come and the four teams we face will want to take our scalp as they go for the play-offs," said McCoist, whose side has recorded 30 wins and drawn twice in 32 league outings this term.

"It's now a target, far more than it was earlier in the season. And it's irrelevant what league it is.

"Not for a minute can I compare it to Arsenal doing it in England, not at all.

"But it doesn't matter what league you are in - to stay unbeaten would be a massive thing for us."
