Rangers manager Ally McCoist admits he is not too sure if the club has received a bid from West Bromwich Albion for Steven Naismith.
The Scotland international was the subject of reported interest from the Baggies late last week with suggestions the West Midlands club had slapped in a cut-price offer of around £2million.
But McCoist says he has not been notified by Rangers if a bid had been received whilst making it clear that he does not want any of his key players departing the financially troubled club in the summer.
"To be fair to the administrators, they keep me up to speed with everything. So I would be very surprised if there has been a £2million bid in and I don't know about it."
He added: "As their manager, I don't want them (top players) going anywhere at all.
"They have obviously stated their desire to play for the club and a lot of them have said how much the club means to them, like it does to us all.
"I'm sitting here very hopeful that nobody goes anywhere.""Not to my knowledge," McCoist said of a proposed bid for Naismith.
