Rangers boss Ally McCoist insists a deal for Aston Villa defender Carlos Cuellar can still happen.
Cuellar is available from Villa, though a move to Gers has stalled.
"No deal is dead," insisted McCoist.
"Cuellar is certainly not a dead deal for us. I would rule nobody out. I am happy with those we have brought in and those we are pursuing."
