Rangers boss Gerrard rejects Bristol City job; Terry next?

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has rejected the Bristol City job.

The Sunday Express says Gerrard is believed to have told the Championship side that he isn't interested in moving to the West Country.

Gerrard, who has spent the last two-years managing in Scotland, is ready to stay in charge North of the Border unless he has a dramatic late change of heart.

Chelsea legend John Terry, who is the assistant head coach at relegation-threatened Aston Villa has indicated that he is interested in replacing Lee Johnson who was sacked two weeks ago.

Villa boss Dean Smith is believed to be fighting for his future with his side three points from Premier League safety with just two games left to play.

Terry, 39, has spent the last couple of years on the Villa coaching staff after calling time on a hugely successful playing career winning every club honour available with Chelsea.
