The Pole's short term contract expires next week and has rejected the offer of an extended deal.

The 31 year old's fine form this season has attracted the attention of Rangers who are looking for a replacement for Roy Carroll who is expected to seal a deal to Derby County next week.

Rangers assistant manager Ally McCoist said: "We are definitely interested in him.

"I'm not sure how far the manager is in taking it down the line. We're not having much luck getting a keeper and he is certainly being talked about."
