Ex-Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has given his backing to Jack Wilshere to become a manager.
The two former teammates had different career trajectories, with Ramsey excelling with Arsenal and then earning a move to Juventus.
Meanwhile, at 30, Wilshere has already retired from playing and is focusing on his coaching work.
He is presently the head coach of the Arsenal Under-18s.
"For him now, I think it's a great opportunity," Nice midfielder Ramsey told the Mirror.
"He has that passion, that love of the game, where you knew he was going to stay involved and become a coach or a manager.
It's a great platform for him to begin his managerial career, and I wish him all the best. I hope that he can give all of his experience and help [to] players."
