Ramos would only leave Real Madrid for Man Utd

Sergio Ramos will only join Manchester United if he happens to leave Real Madrid.

That is the opinion of former Real president Ramon Calderon who has revealed that star defender Ramos' only destination, if he were to exit the Spanish giants, would be Old Trafford.

Ramos, 29, recently emerged on the radar of German champions Bayern Munich after it was suggested he had a falling out at the Santiago Bernabeu but Calderon, who served as president from 2006 to 2009, insists United is the one club the Spain international would be interested in signing with.

"I know Sergio has told the general manager to listen to offers they get from Manchester United," said Calderon.

"He only wants to go to United."

Furthermore, Calderon suggested that Ramos is not feeling the love from Los Blancos despite spending a decade with the 10-time European champions.

"Things are in a very bad situation. As time has gone on, things have not only not improved, they have got worse," he added. "Now it is not a question of money. It is a lack of affection the player is feeling from Real Madrid."
