Quincy: Portsmouth cannot give up hope

Quincy Owusu-Abeyie admits Portsmouth's Premiership survival hopes were dealt a huge blow by defeat to Stoke City.

Pompey are eight points adrift of the safety zone with just 12 games left.

Winger Quincy, on loan from Spartak Moscow, admitted: "It's a bad result, we needed to win. Is it over now? We still have 12 games left and who knows what the other teams will do? They may slip up.

"After the first half we were looking for the win. Now it looks like game over. I'd love to say we can win our last 12 games and stay up. You never know, we could pull off a miracle."
