Newcastle have beaten north-east rivals Middlesbrough to the signing of Queens Park Rangers winger Wayne Routledge. The 25 year old has penned a three-and-a-half year deal at Newcastle after passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.
Routledge is expected to go straight into the Newcastle squad for Wednesday's game with old club Crystal Palace.
