Premier League newcomers QPR will secured the services of Jay Bothroyd from Cardiff City when he signs a contract with the club.
The 28-year old left the Welsh club after his contract expired at the end of last season and he has now agreed a two-year deal with an option for a further 12 months.
Bothroyd passed a medical yesterday and will put the finishing touches on his move very soon according to Skysports.com.
The former Coventry City, Perugia, Blackburn Rovers, Charlton Athletic, Wolves and Stoke City man scored 41 Championship goals in the past three seasons for Cardiff and it now looks as he will get another shot at the Premier League.
