QPR are keen on Hammarby IF coach Martí Cifuentes.

The R's are seeking a new manager after Michael Beale's departure for Rangers. The former Aston Villa assistant manager was named Gers manager this week.

Now QPR are eyeing Cifuentes, with the Spanish coach having only moved to the Swedes from Aalborg 12 months ago.

QPR, who are seventh in the Championship, have made contact with Hammarby in the hope of speaking to Cifuentes, says Sportbladet.

The R's aim to arrange a meeting with Cifuentes as soon as possible. His contract with Hammarby runs to 2024.
