QPR no.2 Jones tips players to bounce back

QPR assistant manager Mick Jones is convinced the players have the bottle to respond from the weekend's humiliating loss to Fulham.

The R's were hammered 6-0 by their West London rivals at Craven Cottage on Sunday but Jones is confident that the playing group are strong enough to bounce back with a positive result following this weekend's international break.

"A defeat like that makes you look at everything that you do," Jones told the club's official website. "Absolutely, 100 per cent.

"You can't get beaten 6-0, and just say, 'It's one of those things'. That's not right. You have to analyse it, and get some answers.

"But we will recover. If you win a football match, you've got 24 hours to rejoice.

"If you lose a football match, you've got 24 hours to sulk. And then you move on. And that's what we've done."
