QPR legend Rodney Marsh has revealed he's known about Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard since he was 12 years of age.
Everton kickoff their season at home to the Rs this weekend.
Marsh told evertonfc.com: "Tim Howard in goal is my man, I'll tell you a quick story about him. Ages and ages ago I got a phone call and this guy and he said 'Rodney I have a 12-year-old goalkeeper who is fantastic and could be a player'.
"He was playing in a tournament in Tampa and I thought crikey he's a great little player - and it was Tim Howard.
"That was nearly 20 years ago and he's gone on to be, in my opinion, a world class goalkeeper."
