QPR are ready to stick with Joey Barton.

The Sunday Express says Barton is expected to be given one final opportunity to mend his wayward ways with QPR.

The Londoners considered showing him the door after a lengthy inquiry into his shocking behaviour against Manchester City in last season's final game.

But the legal cost of doing so - and his undoubted talents - mean that the volatile midfielder, who is banned from playing for a considerable chunk of the next domestic season anyway, looks likely to escape becoming an international outcast as well… for the time being.
