QPR go for Villa midfielder Ireland
QPR are eyeing Aston Villa midfielder Stephen Ireland.
The Sunday Mirror says Ireland will be QPR’s next target after Tottenham turned down a bid for Steven Pienaar.
New Hoops boss Mark Hughes, who brought the best from the 25-year-old when he was at Manchester City, believes he can lift a player who was City’s Player of the Year three seasons ago.
