QPR are eager to close a deal for Samba Diakite.

The Fulham Chronicle says QPR are set to rush through the permanent £3.2m signing of Diakité after clubs were alerted last night to a possible loophole in his loan deal with Hoops.

The defensive midfielder was signed in January from AS Nancy on a six-month loan that expires June 30.
