QPR determined to keep Premier League dream alive says Buzsaky

Akos Buzsaky says all involved at QPR are desperate to keep the club aloft in the Premier League.

The 29-year old Hungarian midfielder originally arrived at Loftus Road on loan in 2007 before signing permanently the following year and he has seen many ups and downs in his time.

The R's currently sit 16th on the league table - just two points off the bottom - and Buzsaky says it is the absolute priority of the West Londoners to stave off relegation so they do not undo all the hard work of last season's tier two title.

"When I came here, QPR were almost bottom of the Championship. A lot of things have changed and when I came there was a big, big thing about getting to the Premier League," he said.

"There were big dreams about it and we wanted to get there within three or four years. That is what happened, we did it and we are in the Premier League.

"I think QPR deserve to be here and this is a club that does not want to go up and down, go up again and go down.

"We have done the hard bit and now we want to stay up and be an established Premier League side like Everton or Stoke.

"We definitely have a strong enough team to stay up, but you never know in football."
