QPR delighted with acquisition of South Melbourne youngster Skapetis

Queens Park Rangers' head of youth development Steve Gallen was delighted to have acquired the services of Australian youngster Peter Skapetis.

The 17-year old striker has signed an 18-month deal with the West London outfit, joining the Club's Centre of Excellence as a First Year Scholar, and Gallen is looking forward to watching the former South Melbourne ace closely.

"We are pleased to bring Petros in," Gallen told QPR's official website.

"He is a good lad. He's quick, bright, lively and he wants to score goals.

"He can also play on the flanks and get crosses into the box. He is a good addition to our youth department."
