The race row involving Chelsea skipper John Terry and QPR's Anton Ferdinand is set to come to a head today.
The Daily Star says both players will both make their final race-row statements to the FA today.
England captain Terry has been told a decision over whether he will be charged with any offence will be made by Thursday at the latest.
Ferdinand and Terry will present their written evidence to the FA disciplinary board as the fallout from the incident threatens to engulf the Chelsea star.
He is accused of aiming a racial slur at the Rangers defender, and officials at Wembley are close to deciding if they have the evidence to launch a case against him.
