QPR chief Les Ferdinand says he'll ban his players from using Twitter next season.
Rs captain Joey Barton insulted club legend Rodney Marsh on Twitter in the lead up to yesterday's win over Newcastle United.
"I hate Twitter," Ferdinand told talkSPORT. "You get involved in arguments with people when there's no need to do that. It becomes personal and bitter.
"A few of our players had a problem with Stan Collymore earlier this season. I just don't understand it.
"If you see someone face to face and you want to express your opinion then [fine], but why do you want to do it on social media so everyone can see it.
"One thing I will be doing next season is that I don't want any of our players on Twitter. That's one of the rules I will put in place. Tweet whatever you like about yourself but if it involves the club you will be fined."
