QPR are chasing Birmingham City veteran Lee Bowyer.
The People says QPR will make a move for Bowyer if they win promotion to the Premier League.
The midfielder produced a heroic display in last week's Carling Cup success, but his Birmingham City contract ends this summer.
There is a chance the 34-year-old may still be offered a one-year extension but Bowyer expects to leave.
