QPR boss Harry Redknapp isn't surprised seeing Tottenham struggle without him.
Redknapp returns to Spurs tomorrow for the first time since his sacking.
"My view is Tottenham were going to struggle when they decided to sell Luka Modric and Gareth Bale to Real Madrid," said Redknapp to the London Evening Standard.
"Some players are irreplaceable and those two fall into that category. You can go out into the transfer market and try to fill the void left by their departure but some players are priceless and it's not easy to do. I was extremely fortunate to have them. They were a pleasure to be around. I used to watch them destroy teams and got just as excited as the fans did watching them play."
