QPR boss Harry Redknapp hopes to oversee a mini clearout this week.
The Sunday Express says Redknapp must wheel and deal as he is under orders to secure Premier League survival on a budget.
He could recoup funds by selling £6million flop Jordon Mutch to Crystal Palace.
Out-of-favour winger Matt Phillips and fellow wideman Junior Hoilett are up for grabs.
And Napoli-target Leroy Fer could also leave as part of the January overhaul.
