QPR boss Harry Redknapp wants to sign permanently on-loan Tottenham midfielder Tom Carroll.

Redknapp would jump at the chance to keep Carroll at Loftus Road.

He told the West London Sport: "It depends what happens at Tottenham and whether they want to keep him.

"If they decide he's not in their plans then he's the kind of player you'd want to build a team around. But it would be Tottenham's decision."
