QPR boss Harry Redknapp believes Gareth Bale will stay with Tottenham.

He reckons Bale still has a lot to stay for at Tottenham.

Redknapp, speaking to i>Sports Direct, said: "Spurs are within touching distance of becoming a Champions League club and Gareth has much to do with that.

"I think he's very happy at the club and although there's a lot of speculation I really don't see him leaving.

"Real Madrid appear to be very keen but it would surprise me if having seen the club show their ambition this summer with some big signings, he were to leave. I hope not."
