QPR boss Harry Redknapp admits they face a battle to land their January transfer targets.
Redknapp has been linked with moves for Stoke striker Peter Crouch and Toronto's Jermain Defoe.
However, the Loftus Road chief has played down speculation linking him with a reunion with the duo.
Redknapp said: "He [Crouch] belongs to Stoke and we've never discussed that with them. He's a good player and they want to keep him, so that's not a goer really.
"Jermain's an excellent player but I don't know if he fits in our budget."
