QPR boss Mark Hughes has ruled out a reunion with Anzhi defender Christopher Samba.

The pair were together at Blackburn Rovers.

Hughes said: "I haven't seen that. I don't like to talk about it. I'm not sure where that came from.

"He's at a club where he's paid a substantial amount of money to work hard. And that takes us out of the equation in terms of what we can do."
