QPR attempt to hijack Newcastle deal for Remy

QPR boss Harry Redknapp hasn't given up on hijacking Newcastle United's deal for Marseille striker Loic Remy.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp hasn't given up on hijacking Newcastle United's deal for Marseille striker Loic Remy.

Marseille president Vincent Labrune has revealed the two clubs have agreed a deal, believed to be in the region of £9million, for the 26-year-old France striker.

The Daily Mail says last week, Remy refused to talk to Queens Park Rangers manager Redknapp about a possible switch to Loftus Road. But Redknapp is still hoping to match Newcastle’s offer and persuade him to move to the Barclays Premier League’s bottom club.
