Pulis won't guarantee Stoke start for record signing Kitson

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis won't guarantee starting record signing Dave Kitson in tomorrow's clash with West Brom.

Kitson, who has not started any of Stoke's last five Premier League fixtures, has retained the backing of most City fans, who expect him to partner Mamady Sidibe in attack.

But Pulis said: "I've not decided that yet. Richard Cresswell is also in the frame and we've got a few things to think about and sort out.

"Dave needs a goal because goals are what every striker lives and breathes on. Scoring is what gives them confidence and we all know and understand that.

"But if he doesn't score and we win the game, that will do for us. Everyone at this football club works tremendously hard and it is all about the team and our results."
