Pulis battling to keep hold of Stoke job

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is facing being pushed out of the Brit following today's game with Southampton.

The Mail on Sunday says Pulis is scheduled to meet chairman Peter Coates for their end-of-season review next week, with issues needing to be addressed on both sides.

The Stoke hierarchy want to assess if Pulis will fit in with the club's new player-recruitment policy and the required behind-the-scenes work at their academy.

Pulis has even been forced to deny rumours that he has decided to walk away from his job like his good friend Sir Alex Ferguson.
