PSV Eindhoven are expected to announce the loan signing of Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel today.

PSV are taking Van Ginkel on a season-long loan, with his Blues contract to expire in June.

Eindhovens Dagblad says PSV sports chief John de Jong will confirm Van Ginkel's return sometime on Tuesday. It will be the fourth spell the midfielder has had with the Dutch giants.

Van Ginkel has fully recovered from knee surgery, but will need time to reach match fitness.

PSV coach Roger Schmidt may wait until the winter break before registering Van Ginkel with his first team squad.
