Sunderland face competition for QPR midfielder Leroy Fer.

Black Cats boss Dick Advocaat is chasing Fer this week and hopes to tie up a loan deal for the Holland midfielder.

However, De Telegraaf says PSV Eindhoven are also in contact with Fer about a return to the Eredivisie.

Unlike Sunderland, PSV can offer Fer Champions League football this season.

QPR boss Chris Ramsey confirmed yesterday that he expected the midfielder to be on the move this month.
