PSV Eindhoven defender Carlos Salcido is wanted by Liverpool as new boss Roy Hodgson continues his search for a quality left-back.
Following the departures of Emiliano Insua and Fabio Aurelio, Hodgson needs to shore up that position and Mexico international Salcido fits the bill.
He would only cost the Reds around £3million which is much less than what other prospective left-backs such as Wigan's Maynor Figueroa and Real Madrid's Royston Drenthe would cost.
