PSV Eindhoven coach Philipp Cocu won't consider Zakaria Bakkali for selection this season.
The 18 year-old Belgian has been dumped to the PSV reserves after refusing to consider new contract talks.
Eindhoven Dagblad says Cocu will only consider selecting Bakkali if his squad is hit hard by injury.
The midfielder is regarded among the brightest young talents for his age and has been tracked by Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Blues chief scout Piet de Visser, particularly, is a big fan of Bakkali.
