Zlatan Ibrahimovic has ruled out the possibility of ever playing in the English Premier League.

The 32-year old Swedish striker has starred in his homeland with Malmo, in Holland with Ajax, in Italy with Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan, in Spain with Barcelona and now in France with Paris Saint-Germain.

Ibrahimovic has never played in England’s top flight but as his career enters its final few seasons, he has made it clear that coming to the UK is not a viable option.

"It's impossible to get me to England," he said ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Chelsea.

"The day I stop with football it will not be that I look back and I say to myself 'Maybe I should've played in England’.

"I haven't been part of it. I made stories in other countries. It's nothing that I regret."
