PSG are in talks with Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric.

The well-connected Mercato365 says PSG have recently approached Modric's camp to register their interest.

PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti is a big fan of Modric and is urging his board to bid for the Croatian. A split is developing inside the Paris club, with many directors unconvinced about Modric at Tottenham's £40 million asking price.

Ancelotti's former club Chelsea, Manchester United, Zenit St. Petersburg and Real Madrid are also in the running for Modric's signature.
