PSG are pushing to sign AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato in the first week of the January market. French sources say a deal is already in place, which will see Pato join PSG on January 4 for €50 million to become incoming Carlo Ancelotti's first signing as new manager.

For Milan, this is news to them, however, Pato's 'interesting' interview with Corriere dello Sport yesterday, in which he raised doubts over his relationship with coach Max Allegri, has fueled talk that a move away is being considered by the Brazilian's camp.

At PSG, not only would Pato potentially find his former Milan coach Ancelotti, but also Leonardo, who was responsible for bringing to Italy from Internacional.
