David Luiz has denied claims that he elbowed Diego Costa on Wednesday night. The Paris Saint-Germain defender has been accused of striking the Chelsea attacker with his elbow during the Champions League clash at Stamford Bridge.
Jose Mourinho suggested it was Luiz who was the instigator of most of the altercations but the PSG goalscorer, formerly a Blues star, distanced himself for any wrongdoing.
No," he said. "He (Mourinho) can say what he wants," said Luiz.
"It's always a battle to play against Costa.
"He can talk about when Costa gave me the elbow in the diaphragm."
PSG progressed to the quarter-finals of Europe's premier club competition after winning gone away goals after a 3-3 aggregate draw which came courtesy of a 2-2 draw in London in midweek.
