PSG coach Thomas Tuchel says Adrien Rabiot's benching for victory over Liverpool was "tactical".

After the 2-1 win, Tuchel justified his decision.

"Yes, yes it was tactically. Because I wanted to play with Marquinhos, Kimpembe and Thiago. It's a tactical decision," said Tuchel.

"This is not a message. All the guys who start are super important and those who can enter are too. Adrien is with us.

"I can feel he's super important that he's on the field at the end of the match."
