Paris Saint-Germain assistant Claude Makelele admits he has been saddened at recent events at former club Chelsea.
The ex-Blues midfielder believes manager Andre Villas-Boas has tried to make too many changes since his arrival in the summer and says he is sad about the plight of the Stamford Bridge outfit who have dropped to fifth on the Premier League table.
"I did a lot of things with Chelsea, I had like five years there, playing good for the club and the team.
"In a team you can't change five or six players it's too much. Sometimes it's like three to benefit the team in a good way, if everybody is working in the same way.
"And now Chelsea lose a lot, with a lot of experienced players on the benches. This is not fair.""It makes me sad when I see Chelsea like that," Makelele said.
