PSG coach Christophie Galtier insists they're not to blame for Hakim Ziyech's deadline day move from Chelsea falling through.

Chelsea have denied reports from France that they failed in multiple attempts to submit the correct documents before the deadline fell.

But Galtier said this morning: "For various reasons we could not get the player we had been chasing.

"I have quality players and we have young players who will get the chance to show their worth in the second half of the season.

"But of course we have to be careful in relation to damage and wear and tear. But I am satisfied with the squad we had from the start of the season.

"Unfortunately, we did not get to strengthen ourselves after the departure of Pablo Sarabia. The responsibility does not lie with the club. Such is life, we look forward."
