Imminent Swansea City signing Gylfi Sigurdsson admits he's been in touch with Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.
Rodgers has declared he'd like to sign the Iceland international.
"I got in touch with Brendan when he was appointed Liverpool manager," he said.
"I wish him congratulations and thanked him for a great time at Swansea."
