Leicester City's new football director Jon Rudkin has little time to get his feet under the table.
Rudkin has succeeded Terry Robinson, who was sacked on the weekend.
The Leicester Mercury says City want to recruit, at the very least, a central defender, a striker and another goalkeeper as cover for the injured Kasper Schmeichel.
City have already made a bid for Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric, while Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is also on City's radar.
However, Rudkin faces a difficult task to not only beat off interest from a host of clubs for both strikers, but also to convince Kramaric or Mitrovic to join a club facing a huge fight to stay in the Premier League.
Tottenham, Chelsea and Juventus are all said to be chasing Kramaric, while Anderlecht striker Mitrovic is being watched by Newcastle and AC Milan, according to reports.
